Formative assessment aims
to consolidate the learning processes through exercises that
determine the strengths and aspects to improve everyone. This phase,
therefore, is neither intended to forget the individual learning process nor to
pigeonhole it into a quantitative grade.
In this sense, the Plickers
platform will be used to promote the formative assessment because offers instant feedback that provides valuable perspectives into which concepts
students understand and which they need to help. Besides, is free and
user-friendly, accessible for teachers with limited budgets, and, additionally,
increases participation thanks to its interactive activities by way of the use of
physical cards that encourage participation, even for shy students.
